Concealed Carry Class FAQ
YouCarrySafely

How do I obtain a Wisconsin concealed carry permit?
1. Attend our DOJ-qualifying concealed carry class
The State of Wisconsin requires completion of a qualifying in-person firearms safety course. Our easy, relaxed 4-hour Concealed Carry and Personal Defense class exceeds all state requirements and is beginner-friendly.
At the end of class, you will receive a Certificate of Training, which is required to apply for your permit. We also provide a copy of the Wisconsin Concealed Carry Permit paper application.
2. Apply for your permit with the State of Wisconsin Dept. of Justice
You may apply in one of two ways:
-
Apply online through the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) website, or
-
Mail in your completed paper application provided to you in class
Step by step: see our Wisconsin CCW Permit page.
